Former National Security Adviser John Bolton Cries Out Over Trump’s Decision To Fire Him

The article from Gateway Pundit reads: President Trump fired John Bolton as National Security Advisor Monday evening and made the announcement Tuesday on Twitter. “I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning. I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week,” Trump said in a pair of tweets Tuesday.

A few minutes later, John Bolton fired off a tweet claiming he was the one who offered to resign Monday night. BOLTON: I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, “Let’s talk about it tomorrow.”

 John Bolton served as National Security Advisor under President Trump after General H.R. McMaster was forced out of the position in March of 2018.
